1. General betting conditions

Roostino Casino provides betting and gaming services subject to applicable Australian laws, regulatory requirements and our account terms. You must be legally permitted to use online gambling services in your location. You are responsible for checking whether betting is lawful for you before opening an account or placing a bet.

Jump to

You must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering and whenever we reasonably ask you to confirm your identity or account details. An account may only be used by the registered account holder. You must keep your login details private and must not allow another person to place bets using your account.

Only one account may be used by each customer unless we have expressly approved another arrangement. If we identify duplicate, linked or improperly managed accounts, we may review the relevant activity and take action under the Terms and Conditions. This may include restricting access, cancelling affected bets or withholding an outcome where permitted by law.

Bets are accepted only when they are successfully recorded in your account and a confirmation is displayed or otherwise made available. A selection added to a bet slip is not a placed bet. If a bet is not confirmed, you should not assume that it has been accepted.

  • You must meet all age, identity and location requirements that apply to your account.
  • You must not place bets on behalf of another person or use funds belonging to another person without authorisation.
  • You must not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, collusion, money laundering or any other prohibited purpose.
  • You must follow any additional rules shown for a particular game, event, market, tournament or promotion.
  • We may refuse, suspend, limit or cancel betting activity where this is necessary for security, compliance, technical or responsible gambling reasons.

Changes to rules and information

Rules, prices, odds, market descriptions and availability may change before a bet is accepted. The information shown at the time your bet is confirmed generally forms the basis of that bet, together with these rules and any specific terms displayed for the relevant product. We may update these rules from time to time. The current version published on the website applies to future activity from the time it takes effect.

2. Placing, changing and cancelling bets

Before submitting a bet, check the selection, stake, odds or other displayed price, potential return and any relevant conditions. A bet may be accepted at a different price if the service displays a price-change notice and you confirm the updated bet. You are responsible for checking the final details before confirming.

Once a bet has been accepted, it normally cannot be changed or cancelled by the customer unless a cancellation, cash-out or other feature is specifically made available. Any such feature is optional, may not be available for every bet and may be withdrawn or suspended. A request to use a feature is not effective until it is confirmed in your account.

A bet may not be accepted if the market is closed, suspended, unavailable, incorrectly displayed or affected by a technical issue. If a bet is accepted in error, or is affected by a clear pricing, selection or system mistake, we may review the bet and apply the relevant correction or voiding process described in these rules and the applicable terms.

  • Your available balance must be sufficient for the stake unless an approved payment or betting feature states otherwise.
  • The minimum and maximum stake, where applicable, are shown in the betting interface or relevant terms.
  • A bet may be rejected, restricted or subject to a different maximum stake without notice where permitted by applicable requirements.
  • A bet slip may contain multiple selections, and each selection may have separate settlement rules.
  • For in-play or live betting, delays may occur between an event and the information shown on screen.
  • You should not place a bet if you believe the market information is incomplete, inaccurate or out of date.

Bet records

Your account history is the primary record of accepted bets, subject to correction where a clear error or technical issue has occurred. Keep your own records if required for personal, tax or budgeting purposes. If you believe a bet is missing or has been recorded incorrectly, raise the issue promptly through the available support or complaints process and provide the relevant bet reference and account information.

3. Settlement, results and void bets

Bets are settled using the official result or outcome source identified for the relevant market. The applicable event rules may specify how postponed, abandoned, interrupted, rescheduled or disputed events are treated. If no specific rule is displayed, we may apply a reasonable settlement approach consistent with the nature of the market and the available official information.

The result of a bet may be amended if an official result is corrected, if a settlement error is identified or if new information shows that the original result was not final. Where a correction affects your account balance, we may make the corresponding adjustment and explain the reason where appropriate.

A bet may be voided when the relevant event, game or market does not take place, is materially changed, is abandoned under the applicable rules or cannot be settled fairly. A void bet is normally treated as having no winning or losing outcome, and the stake may be returned in accordance with the rules for that market.

Typical settlement situations

  • If an event is postponed, settlement may depend on whether it takes place within the period or under the conditions stated in the market rules.
  • If an event is abandoned, bets may be void unless the result of the relevant market has already been determined under the applicable rules.
  • If a selection, participant or match detail is incorrectly identified, the market may be reviewed or voided where the error materially affects the bet.
  • For combination bets, a void selection may be removed and the remaining selections may be settled under the relevant combination rules.
  • For casino or game outcomes, the recorded game result and transaction record are used to determine settlement, subject to technical review.
  • If a promotion applies, promotional terms may contain separate qualifying, settlement and expiry conditions.

Settlement may be delayed while an event is verified, a result is confirmed or an account is reviewed. A delay does not by itself mean that a bet has been lost or cancelled. We will aim to process valid outcomes accurately and consistently, but timing can vary depending on the product, event and available information.

Errors and unusual activity

If a bet is accepted because of an obvious error, such as an incorrect price, duplicated transaction or technical malfunction, we may correct or void the affected transaction where allowed. We may also investigate unusual betting patterns, suspected manipulation, collusion or activity that appears inconsistent with the account terms. Any action will be handled in accordance with applicable requirements and our published policies.

4. Promotions, account safety and responsible betting

Promotions, bonuses and special offers are subject to their own terms. Those terms may explain eligibility, qualifying bets, minimum requirements, excluded products, expiry, wagering conditions, maximum conversions and how a qualifying result is settled. If a promotional term conflicts with a general rule, the specific promotional term may apply to that offer.

You must not abuse an offer, create accounts to obtain an improper advantage, use misleading information or coordinate activity with others to defeat promotional conditions. We may remove a benefit or restrict related activity where there is evidence of misuse, subject to applicable law and the relevant offer terms.

Protecting your account

  • Use a strong, unique password and do not share it with anyone.
  • Sign out after using a shared or public device.
  • Check account activity and transaction records regularly.
  • Contact support through the website if you notice activity you do not recognise.
  • Do not respond to requests for passwords, security codes or payment details from unknown sources.
  • Keep your personal and payment information accurate and up to date.

Responsible gambling

Betting should be entertainment, not a way to make money or recover losses. Set a budget before you play, decide how much time you can spend and never gamble with money needed for essential expenses. Do not chase losses, borrow money to bet or continue when gambling is causing stress or conflict.

Account tools may be available to help you manage your activity, such as deposit controls, session reminders, time-outs or self-exclusion. Availability and conditions can vary by product and location. If you feel that betting is no longer enjoyable or is becoming difficult to control, stop playing and use the responsible gambling information and support options provided on the website.

Questions, disputes and complaints

If you have a question about a bet, review the bet reference, market name, date, stake and settlement shown in your account. Raise the issue through the available customer support or complaints channel. We may ask for further information so that we can verify the account and investigate the matter fairly. Complaints are reviewed under the applicable complaints process, and you should keep any relevant screenshots or transaction records.

These Betting Rules are intended as general information and do not replace the full Terms and Conditions or the specific rules displayed for an individual bet. If there is any uncertainty, read the information shown before placing the bet and do not proceed until you understand the applicable conditions.
